Better grab some Powder Planks
Waking up to a nice big flakes floating from the sky here in Nozawa as this system starts to crank up. The resort reporting 15cm up top already! It is going to be a huge day on the snow front in Nozawa with over 50cm of fresh snow expected by this time tomorrow.
If want to practice your powder turns or just improve your skiing or boarding ability in general we have an improvement course starting tomorrow. Temperature at the top; – 4 degrees on Yamabiko, -2 degrees on Uenotaira
New snow since yesterday; 15cm
Base at the top; 250cm
Snow conditions; Powder layer on all slopes
Weather; Snowing nicely and will increase throughout the day

Forecast
🎿❄️ Hold on for the ride as we have a very snowy 48 Hours ahead with 50cm forecast for today and into tonight then another 20cm tomorrow. Winds are moderate today but will intensify on Tuesday. Wednesday is looking as blue ski at they come with light winds so depending what sort of days you like snow or sun can take your pick.
At this stage another decent cold front and snow fall is building from Friday night over next weekend. Winter and the good times continue in Nozawa Onsen. If need to switch to some powder skis or boards please see teh team at Nozawa Central Rentals.
