Winter Wonderland continues in Nozawa
Winter Wonderland continues in Nozawa
Almost another “Magic Foot” deposited across the mountain in Nozawa overnight! Base hitting 315cm this morning after one of the best days of the season yesterday. With the 72cm we got yesterday that takes us to a magnificent Meter in 2 days. The powder hounds were barking yesterday with deep turns on offer across the resort.
The sun also came out to give us a beautiful blue bird day swipe through the photos for more.
TODAY:
🌡️ Temperature at the top: -9 degrees
❄️ New snow since yesterday: 25cm
🏔️ Base at the top of Nagasaka: 315cm
❄️ Snow conditions: Deep Powder again
🌤️ Weather: Stormy with consistent snow fall and strong winds
⛷️ Runs: All runs open
🚡 Lifts: All lifts running
❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
The snow should continue throughout today with falls and wind easing into the afternoon. Tomorrow the weather man is telling me to expect a beautiful Sunny day with light winds and should be an amazing weekend to be in the mountains. Not a lot of snow on the radar for a week now which is not such a bad thing and 2 more big systems starting to emerge from next Friday on. Enjoy the sun while it lasts we will no doubt be back in the Snow Globe soon. Stay safe, pack the snorkel and have a great day.
