What an incredible start to the season we’ve had here in Nozawa Onsen! With snowfall amounts we haven’t seen in years, the base has grown to an impressive 3 meters in just a few weeks. The first half of January has delivered some of the best skiing and snowboarding conditions all around, making it an absolute dream for winter sports lovers.
Today, we’re being treated to glorious sunshine with a chance of light snow showers during the day. The sunny weather is expected to stick around until Thursday, giving everyone more opportunities to soak up the breathtaking views. Yesterday’s sunshine lit up Mt. Kenashi beautifully, with skiers and snowboarders carving through perfect conditions and savoring every moment on the slopes. 🌞
But that’s not all—get ready for another dose of fresh, fluffy snow arriving Friday evening to top it all off. Stay safe, enjoy this beautiful sunny stretch, and let’s look forward to more powder to cap off the week! ❄️🙌
