The Snowmageddon continues in Nozawa
Another Magic Foot plus of fresh snow over night in Nozawa, and it this Siberian freight train does not look like stopping anytime soon! Since Monday night, the snow has been almost non-stop, bringing the base up to an incredible 315cm as of 9am, back to the peak so far this season and will surpass that soon. Right now, glimpses of sunshine are peeking through the snowy clouds, and the forecast hints at a mix of snow and sun continuing into the afternoon. ☀️❄️.It could be the best day of the season maybe the best ski day you have ever had!
Yesterday was an absolute dream on the slopes, with countless riders coming down the mountain beaming with excitement. Beginners actually struggled a bit as there was too much powder 🙂 For most however with these epic conditions set to stick around for another week, the stoke is high!
Just a heads-up: roads can be slippery and tricky out there, and town is buzzing with winter lovers making the most of this incredible weather. Take it slow, stay safe, and enjoy every moment in of Nozawa’s magic!

The snowy times just keep rolling here and we have on average 30cm or more a day forecast for another 7 days! Temps are staying low too so snow conditions are going to be amazing. Too much snow? Will have to wait and see. With this base just sky rocketing means we are in for a long season and lifts should easily keep rolling until May 7th the end of Golden Week.
