A Bluebird Morning in Nozawa!
A Bluebird Morning in Nozawa!
It’s a stunning sunny morning here in Nozawa Onsen, and the lines to the gondolas are filling up fast! With little to no wind, breathtaking views, and pleasant temperatures, today is shaping up to be an epic day on the slopes. Expect some slush on the lower runs later on, but up top, it’s looking fantastic! Yesterday’s Valentine’s Day was a busy one, with slow winds, great visibility, and smooth operations—perfect for a romantic day on the mountain. 💕🎿
Looking ahead, winter isn’t done with us yet! ❄️ A cooldown is rolling in from Monday afternoon, bringing westerly winds and dropping temperatures down to -10°C midweek. The good news? Winds should stay in check, keeping the lifts and gondolas running smoothly. And if the long-term forecast holds, we might be in for an extended snowstorm, with over a meter of fresh powder expected fall until Friday! 🌨️🤯
