Are we done with shovelling?
This morning in Nozawa Onsen, we’re waking up to overcast skies with occasional clearings, setting the stage for a mostly cloudy day with light snowfall expected throughout. With midweek in full swing, the slopes are noticeably quieter than the weekend rush—offering more space and freedom for those carving their way down the mountain. Yesterday brought mostly cloudy skies, but fresh snowfall in the afternoon and evening gave the resort a refresh. A 15cm of fresh overnight has topped up the base, and with more snow on the way in the coming days, we’re left wondering—could this be our last big dump of the season? Stay tuned and make the most of the winter magic while it lasts! 🎿🏂✨ #NozawaOnsen #SkiJapan #SnowyDays

Fresh snow is on the way! Today (Wednesday) starts with light snowfall, which will continue throughout the day. Looking ahead, Thursday and Friday will bring moderate to heavy snow, especially in the evening hours, setting us up for a great weekend on the mountain. Temperatures are staying low, with highs around -6°C to -10°C at higher elevations, ensuring excellent snow conditions. While Saturday looks calmer with cloudy skies and lighter snowfall, Sunday may bring some snow dusting before clearer weather moves in early next week. Another round of light snow is expected by midweek, but temperatures will gradually rise. Make the most of these fresh conditions while they last!
