Weather: Clearing and sunny day ahead amazing conditions!
Wow, what a perfect storm that was with Nozawa Onsen scoring about 100cm out of it in just over 24 hours. Was still snowing late last night and just started to clear when we surfaced this morning.
Almost 2 meter base up the top now and the resort reporting 35cm of fresh snow overnight. It is going to be nothing short of epic on the slopes today folks. The snow just kept coming yesterday and tracks were getting filled as quickly as they could be laid. It was over boot high powder on the groomers. No need to venture of and still not safe to do so.
Looking ahead more snow expected tomorrow then a few days of beautiful sunshine. Will give all in the village a chance to clear the roofs and reset for the next dump, which at this stage may happen this time next week.
Anyway today will be as good as it gets peak season so get up there and enjoy. Tanoshinde kudasai
