An Amazing few days in Nozawa
If you have been in Nozawa these last few days you would have to be thinking for a light on season this is pretty good. Sitting on the chair yesterday with a friend from Switzerland he said we get these sort of days about once a month back home. In Nozawa even this season we have still managed to get a day like this almost once a week. We were surrounded by beautiful white frosted trees, with 20cm of fresh snow on the deck and not a lot of people to share it with. If you are a fair weather skier today could be even better for you.

Temperature up top: -8 degrees
New snow since close: 0 cm
Base at top: 215 cm
Snow conditions: Terrific conditions across the resort particularly early.
Weather: Bluebird day with sunshine streaming in, light winds and warming up
Yesterday was proper winter cold up top and has started fresh this morning with -8 degrees, that should warm up pretty quickly with this sunshine. It will be a fantastic day for photos up top with blue skies and amazing views. Tomorrow looks like will be cloudy ahead of a few warm days early next week. The long range is bouncing around but currently more cold temps and snow expected next Friday. A big thanks to the 140 Optometrists and Doctors that have just been visiting Nozawa this last week, and also all the other amazing guests we have had staying, you timed it well. We are a bit biased but Nozawa Onsen has to be one of the best ski resorts in Japan. Traditional Japanese Village with Onsens, delicious food and some of the best skiing you will find on the planet.
