Warmer day before the next big dump in Nozawa
Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 29th December 2020
Being lured into a false sense of warmth and sunshine today in Nozawa. If the forecast is correct this time tomorrow should see temps almost 15 degrees colder up top and over 50cm of fresh snow falling from the sky. A balmy 5 degrees up top at the moment and plenty of sunshine. Lots of locals taking advantage of the conditions to clear some snow from roofs in preparation of what is to come. This shot of Matsuba No Yu Onsen just a week ago after the last big dump. We can expect at least the same again!
