Snow expected tonight and more on the way for Nozawa

Another fun day on the slopes but a rare case of no new snow to report. The base has consolidated a bit but still some fresh pockets to be found. Some sun and cloud cover today ahead of a decent little dump this evening. Check out the forecast.

January Ski Nozawa Japan
We should get half a foot of fresh overnight but it is just the prelude to the main game with another big system expected from Thursday. We should get over a meter of snow and temps are going to get real cold so some amazing Siberian powder should be on offer. Great rhythm in Nozawa at the moment with dumps and a few days rest in between. January is usually the time of the season we get our most Snow fall so think there will be a lot more to come. Keep up the dance.

Even though we get the most snowfall in Nozawa in January most years any month can be terrific depending on what you are looking for. March is our favourite month for the reasons above in the link
- Usually Peak base of snow over 3 meters ( Sometimes 4 meters plus)
- More sunny days and still some good dumps of snow
- No crowds to deal with you will rarely line up for a lift
- Easy to get into any restaurants and cafes
- Nozawa Holidays is doing some great deals just ask
