Skies of blue and a Magic View today in Nozawa
Yesterday we had a bit of a false start on the bluebird conditions with light snow continuing to fall all day. It kept things cold and fresh though and will set us up for a magic sunny day today. The weekend crowds will have also gone home so should make for some beautiful uncrowded slopes today. The Half Pipe at Uenotaira also opens today for the first time this season just next to the terrain park. Winds are very light and lots of sunshine with still nice cold temps will make for a fantastic day ahead.

☃️ SNOW FORECAST:
Plenty of sunshine for the next 3 days with light winds and temps gradually increasing into Wednesday. A cool change expected from Thursday and we could see up to 20cm fall up top that day. No major systems on the radar at this stage but temperatures remain pretty cold into next week and will have to wait and see what snow pops up. The All Japan Junior High School Ski Championships begin from 1st of February and cover all disciplines; Downhill, Cross Country and Jump. Be sure to check it out and support the local Nozawa kids as they shoot for the stars literally. Have an awesome day stay safe and soak up some sunshine.
