March Peak Snow Nozawa
Winter go home you’ve had one too many!
Boom another Magic Foot overnight and the snow tap is still turned fully on this morning. We have hit peak base for the season today sitting at 260cm up at Yamabiko after yesterday’s top up and last nights 25cm. This has eclipsed the previous peak of 230cm. Not bad for March 10th! There must be close to a foot in town too and it is light. Will be a great day for the powder hounds, would be tempted to say one of the best of the season. Our sincere apologies to anyone the came to Nozawa for Spring skiing this March. Winter is still in control. If keen to get up and enjoy all this snow head to the site to book; https://www.nozawaholidays.com/bookings/

❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
Wow didn’t think we would be reporting so much snow at this time of year. Still going strong this morning but should ease. Hoping to see the sun tomorrow morning with light winds and temps a bit warmer. Snow expected to return on Tuesday and we could see another 25cm for the top. Will be a bit warmer but temps dropping into Wednesday. Thursday on and we should finally see some sunshine and be able to enjoy some spring skiing! Early next week however there are some snow falls appearing. All this fresh snow and higher base bodes well for a longer season. Will we make it to Golden Week and the usually May 7th finish? Will have to wait and see, would say until mid April is looking pretty safe now for the top. For today enjoy the amazing powder, stay safe and have a deep day out there.
