April Angel Dust for Nozawa
This shot from up at Yamabiko Yesterday. Looks ok for mid April! Have had a few little dustings up top over the last couple of days which have freshened things up a bit and made it look really pretty with the trees. The base is as expected receding but still holding in there with over a meter up top and should be good to slide all the way down to Paradise over the weekend. Some resorts in the world would be happy with over a meter at peak times. We could have used some more snow in March to keep things going but with the snow making facilities up top we should be good to last until May 9th the end of the season just 3 weeks away.

Pretty wild looking weekend ahead on the forecast with some rain expected Saturday and the weather man is predicting 20cm of fresh snow up top for Sunday with a dip in temperatures and the winds shifting to the favourable North direction. Will have to wait and see but if it comes Monday will be a surprise package with bluebird conditions expected. Sunshine on the menu for all of next week so may be a good week to do some remote work from Nozawa.
