Trail Running Event on tomorrow in Nozawa Onsen
Many may know this slope near the ski jump and probably thought it is tricky enough to ski down it. How about running up it!
The annual Trail Running event hosted by Saloman is on tomorrow Friday the 23rd of July in Nozawa. With a long weekend across Japan it is looking like will be a busy time in the Village. Nozawa Onsen and surrounding mountains make for the perfect backdrop and terrain for Trail Running and what better way to end the race than to take a soothing Onsen at the end of the day.
Some serious distances to be covered with the longest race being a staggering 65km! If like me thats a little too far you can also opt for the 23km or 14km events. Entries have now closed but come on and cheer on the competitors as the run thru town or up at the finish line on the Olympic Soccer fields. If missed this one make plans for next year or just come up anytime to do your own trail run or hike.
