Base at top: 165 cm Temp at Top; -7 Degrees Base at Uenotaira 130 cm New Snow since close: 5 cm Weather: Light snow and light winds all day On piste conditions were fantastic yesterday. After a light covering of snow from Wednesday, the slopes were nothing but fast and smooth, and fairly empty too! The sun was out for the whole day, though temperatures were cold keeping the snowpack nice and fresh. It’s currently snowing very lightly down in the village and we’re expecting a couple of centimetres up the top today. Enough to keep the underfoot conditions nice and to keep the trees looking pretty. Winds will be mild today and tomorrow, increasing on Saturday […]

Nozawa showed us its magic yesterday with some fresh snow on the ground and the trees all glistening in a layer of white snow. It was a beautiful day up there. Our base is creeping up slowly, currently reading 165cm at the top. With some fresh snow around the resort from the last few days, today is going to be a cracker of a day up on the mountain.
