The weekend is here and so is the snow. Good Morning everyone!  It’s looking like a snowy weekend here for us in Nozawa Onsen.  Snow should begin tonight and continue through Tuesday with a moderate fall.  A sunny morning on Wednesday is predicted before heavier snowfall starts again and continues through Friday. Snow for the weekend Good morning everyone.  Not a cloud in the sky today as we get ready for another weekend here in Nozawa.  Still expecting snow for tomorrow evening for those itching to get their powder fix.  We should have 3 days of moderate snow, a slight reprieve and then continuing for 2 days of light snow. Basically snow is coming and let’s continue with the unexpected theme and hope that the numbers we receive outshine the predictions! Better get those boards and skis waxed and ready. Blue bird morning It’s been a great couple of days here in Nozawa Onsen, with dumps over night then sun throughout the day. I bet there are a few tired bodies today from all that skiing and snowboarding. We’ve woken up to another glorious morning today and have a prediction of some light snow this afternoon and into the night. Might need some sunscreen on over the next couple of days before the new snow system predicted joins us on the weekend. Have a great day out there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain. Snow gods keep on delivering. Well February you are a beauty!  Another stealth fall of 40cm Sunday evening and with picture perfect conditions yesterday we had a sunny bluebird morning. We woke up to another dumping overnight and February is shaping up to be fantastic.  We should see a few light days of snow this week and then on the weekend it’s predicted again to start another cycle. Waking up to powder Good morning everyone. Got to love waking up to fresh powder in the morning. Get up there and make the most of this amazing snow. The clouds rolled in yesterday afternoon and whilst we slept Nozawa was blanketed in snow. Conditions should be great all over the mountain with little wind and snow continuing to fall throughout the day. This is what we have been waiting for, a little later than expected, definitely worth the wait. Its not over yet with more snow on the way. Sunshine days here in Nozawa Onsen Good morning everyone.  A great day was had on piste yesterday.  Sunshine and blue skies for most of the day and some snowfall in the afternoon. Forecast is showing just over 10cm this afternoon with a chance of snow every day until Wednesday.  Looks like we have another snow front coming towards us next weekend.  Let’s hope the forecast hangs in this week and we’ll be powder hunting on the weekend. Looking good for the weekend Morning everyone.  A beautiful morning here in Nozawa onsen with a light dusting overnight.  Some light snow on the forecast today to get us ready for the weekend. We should see the heavy snowfall on Sunday and it’s looking like a good one with low winds.  Look out for those heavy snowflakes they are on there way. More snow on the way! We had a mostly sunny day yesterday with great conditions on Piste. Today it is predicted to be cloudy with light snow during the day.  Friday night will see the new snow front arrive which should see decent snow fall over 4 days.  Get ready for some epic powder days ahead, Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
