Whole Resort Open Nozawa Onsen Whole Resort now open in Nozawa  Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 23rd December 2020  Yesterday on the slopes in Nozawa was as good as it gets really with blue skies, fresh snow and very few people about. Today promises to be just as good. No fresh snow but plenty of sunshine and the trees up top still doing the frozen broccoli thing. Pretty much the whole resort is now open too and there should be still some fresh snow on the new runs open today. Gondola Open Nozawa Onsen Gondola back up and running but look at all that snow!   Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 21st December 2020  Good news the new Nagasaka Gondola is back up and running this morning. Check out how much snow has collected underneath it though. Almost looks like could bottom out! Nozawa Onsen Snow Report December Nozawa a Village in a battle with Mother Nature.  Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 20th December 2020  The snow is absolutely beautiful to watch fall and to ride it is amazing at the moment. Just wish there was not so much of it at once!  Another  “ Magic Foot “ plus overnight and the base up top has hit 220cm this morning. Feels like even more, it is pretty deep and light with the cold temps. Ski Rental Nozawa Onsen Another 60cm of fresh snow overnight for Nozawa! Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 17th December 2020   The Snowy times just keep rolling for Nozawa and for some locals it is already too much snow! Cars and front doors are getting buried. Another “Two Magic Feet” overnight has fallen across the resort. Big Snow Season Nozawa A Season Start for the History Books in Nozawa  Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 16th December 2020  Wow what a start to the season in Nozawa. Another 60cm of fresh snow overnight and the base now smashing through the 1 meter mark. Nozawa Onsen Snow Report  – Dumping! Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 15th December 2020 Welcome folks to the first Snow Report of the season with official figures from Nozawa. Lots of fresh snow to report too with the “Snow Tap” turned firmly on and the Snow Gods delivering epic amounts of the fresh goodness! Big Snow Little Village Nozawa The Snow Show begins in Nozawa  Yesterday the first day of the season was lots of fun and everyone was impressed by the new modern high speed Nagasaka Gondola. It was a fun day up top on the slopes and great to get the legs warmed up for the crazy amount of snow we have coming.  It has just started to dump all the way down to town! This video right now at the bottom of the Nagasaka Gondola. Big flakes and will be even lighter up top. Nozawa Resort Open 2021 Season It’s official Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort Opens Tomorrow! The slopes up top are looking ready, groomed and glorious. The new Gondola is running its final tests. The stage is set to get the 2020/21 Season underway in Nozawa.  The New Nagasaka Gondola will run from 8;30am to 15;30 pm starting tomorrow and deliver skiers and boarders to the top in just 8 minutes. Season Outlook Nozawa 2021 Siberian Express stopping in Nozawa  Quietly confident the resort should open next weekend but if not would say is definite a few days later.  Not a lot of fresh snow expected over the next week but come Monday it looks like Winter is going to let us know who is boss with a good old fashioned snow down!  Check out the forecast, freezing level is plummeting and Chill factor getting down to -26 degrees!
