Strong Winds & Fresh Snow Strong Winds & Fresh Snow   We woke up to some strong winds today, with gusts reaching up to 65km/h at the top of the mountain! Due to the high winds, the main gondolas and upper lifts are on hold for now, with only the lower mountain areas open with some good riding options at Hikage station. A little ray of sunshine A little ray of sunshine   Have to admit it is nice to see the sun again! After over a week of non stop heavy snow, had almost forgotten what it looked like. What a snow storm that was, probably as intense as the huge system we copped at the start of the season and it delivered the 2.5 meters expected with some change.     Just a dusting up top overnight not the usual 50cm 🙂 There will still be so much powder up there to enjoy and will be nice to hopefully see some corduroy lines for a change.
