Tokyo Nozawa Snow Fall Tokyo and Nozawa Snow Fall. Stealth snow storm sweeps through Nozawa 30cm or the “ Magic Foot” of fresh snow recorded for Nozawa overnight in what felt like even more. The snow started falling lightly about lunch time and just intensified through the afternoon and into the evening. It was heavy at times, I cleared the steps of my front door 3 times in about 2 hours and the same amount of snow was still sitting there! People returning from slopes late yesterday afternoon saying the powder was already boot high so this morning should be even deeper. Temps are cold and the snow is still falling lightly so get up there as is going to […]

The Nagasaka Connector from Karasawa and the Nagasaka and Hikage triples will all open this morning and the cat tracks that join them. Will just make it easier for people to move between the 3 bases and access accommodation and car parks without needing the bus. Will also mean beginners have a few more options.
