Ski Work Onsen Nozawa Japan April Angel Dust for Nozawa This shot from up at Yamabiko Yesterday. Looks ok for mid April! Have had a few little dustings up top over the last couple of days which have freshened things up a bit and made it look really pretty with the trees. The base is as expected receding but still holding in there with over a meter up top and should be good to slide all the way down to Paradise over the weekend. The day actually started fairly cool but has warmed up under the sun. We are at that part of the season where it can feel like Green Season in town and the Valley but still a winter sports buzz up high. Nozawa Onsen Discounts Ski Japan Haru Yama or Spring Mountain has officially begun in Nozawa Every year at the end of March regardless of snow depth or the number of guests the Resort closes the lifts at the bottom of the mountain. That day and the start of the Spring Skiing Season started yesterday. You can still ski top to bottom on skiers right down Uenotaira, Paradise and on to the black runs or forest trail but under restriction not 100% sure what that means but probably just to take it easy.
