Best place to visit Japan Golden Week and Silver Trees in Nozawa The long Japanese holiday is in full swing and plenty of people up on the slopes taking in the last skiing of the season. The beautiful Buna trees also put on a show giving us perhaps the last “Frozen Broccoli” scene for the winter. Best place to visit Japan This the reminence of that little snow fall we had a few days ago. I am going to hazard a guess it may have been the last of the season for Nozawa but have to wait and see. Best Time Ski Japan Nozawa Ride the wave into March in Nozawa Beautiful Sunny day for the official first day of Spring in Japan. It was nice and cold early but definitely warming up as the day opens up and the sun kisses the slopes. Almost empty up there today, check out the web cams just a few people sliding down the mountain. Will be nice on the groomers and probably a bit crispy on any untouched powder stashes. Not real heavy yet but it should intensify throughout the morning. The resort reporting 15cm overnight of fresh and on top of the 20cm we got yesterday has pushed the base back up to the 3 meter mark.
