First Snow Nozawa 2022
First Snow Nozawa 2022 Snowy Peeks from Nozawa this Morning Beautiful crisp clear start to the day in Nozawa with temps as low as 3 degrees. It is going to be a fresh day with a high of 9 degrees expected and the highlight is we have snow on some surrounding peaks. Across the valley Mt Myoko and Mt Hiuchi pulling on their white coats for the first time this season. Looks magnificent too set against the Autumn colours below. Amazing time to be in Nozawa and watch this monumental season change take place. As the march in to the long Winter begins.

Buy Lift Pass Nozawa Who has ridden the new Nagasaka Gondola in Nozawa? Having only opened two season ago for many of our overseas guests the answer is probably not yet. First Snow Japan 2022 First Snow of the Season in Japan The first fall at a ski Resort in Japan for the coming winter season was reported this morning at Kurodake in the north of Hokkaido. Mt Fuji has already seen some snow but Kurodake Ropeway is as usual our go to for first snow falls at a resort in Japan. The first now last year was on Oct 19th so two weeks later. Does this mean we are in for an early season this year? Japan Open Borders October A new Dawn in Japan Japanese Prime Minister Kishida san has just announced Japan will fully open borders to Tourists from next month for the 11th of October 2022. Fantastic news for all our amazing overseas guests keen to get back for the coming Ski Season and for all the businesses that have been doing it tough for the last few years. We finally have a date that border walls will come down and things can return to normal.
