Best Ski Rental Nozawa Here Comes the Sun  Nozawa Snow report 13th of February 2020  Yesterday was another awesome day on the slopes rounding out a real purple patch in Nozawa. The snow was good underfoot and the views were nothing short of spectacular.  Sitting up on Paradise slope and staring across the Valley it was so clear you could almost see people skiing on Myoko! All the alps were lining up and it was hard to keep your eyes on the slopes. Right now it is sunny across the mountain and while it’s cool now the temperature is expected to climb much higher during the day. By this afternoon spring conditions are forecast across the entire mountain, except Yamabiko. It’s a foggy morning down here in the village with the hills and peaks piercing through the valley fog. What a lucky week it’s been! February Snow Nozawa Onsen Nozawa Magic Strikes Again! The Forecast said maybe 30cm and we got almost double that with 55cm recorded overnight in Nozawa. That was up top but it feels like almost as much in the village! Set to continue snowing all day but hopefully easing. It is going to be deep! The base now also jumped to 260cm which puts us now ahead of the 2015/16 season where we got a peak of 245cm from memory. As the day dawns we’ve got some sensational conditions down here in Nozawa Onsen village. The sky is clear and cold, off in the distance Myoko is rising out of some meandering valley fog and while it didn’t snow much last night, it did snow quite a lot since last lifts yesterday. Week Day Skiing Nozawa Waiting for Big Wednesday in Nozawa  Was thinking we may wake up to heavy snow fall this morning but at this stage there is just scattered cloud above and even patches of blue skies. It was a crystal clear sky when went to bed last night and the stars were shining. With no cloud cover last night it is nice and cold this morning in town, the mercury on my doorstep showing -5 degrees.
