Early Snow Conditions Japan Get your Snow Dance on!   Parts of Japan saw some healthy early falls of snow over the last few days. Can also see dustings of white across the valley at Myoko. The top of Nozawa may have got a little but the Mountain cams are in clouds still so hard to tell. First Snow Nozawa 2018 We were just talking today about this time last year and it being exactly One month from today on November 17th 2017 that we had a great fall of snow and the top of Nozawa Onsen was converted into a Winter Wonderland. The snow then continued and we opened Nozawa Onsen Resort on the 25th of November 2017. Big Snow Little Town Japan – A huge season on the snow front. Last Snow Season in Nozawa Onsen will go down as a “good season”. There was something for everyone, there was plenty of snow without being too crazy and we reached a peak of 370cm base on February 19th. The season before 2017 our peak was 435cm on March 28th and the big 2015 season we hit a huge 470cm base on February 16th.
