Last Week Season Nozawa
The Last week of the Ski Season in Nozawa
Fun time to be in Nozawa at the moment, the streets starting to buzz with Golden Week guests. It has been constant but not flat out yet. However think tomorrow all that is going to change with most guest houses in town saying they are pretty full tomorrow night. Probably will be a few busy days then pretty quiet to see in the end of the season. It has been pretty cool too. In town is nice when the sun is out but at night has been Jacket weather for sure. Single digits up on the slopes too.
These cold temps have helped to preserve the base and we enter the last week with just over 1 meter of base remaining so will be plenty to finish the week and still able to ski to the bottom of Paradise. It is definitely slushy later in the day and slow going on the flats especially. So try and get up early. The morning market is running every day this week on the Main Street so a good reason to rise and shine and get some local produce before hitting the slopes or going for a hike.
Looks like blue skies forthe rest of the week and temps will start to warm up from Wednesday. Light winds and starry nights await in Nozawa. Hope to see you up here, drop the girls an email to team@nozawaholidays.com if still keen to get into the action. Stay safe and have a solid gold Golden week
