3-Meter Snow Base & More Powder Incoming!
We’ve officially surpassed a 3-meter snow base, and with 25cm of fresh snowfall overnight, today is shaping up to be another incredible day on the powder-layered slopes of Nozawa Onsen! Yesterday was nothing short of legendary, with a record-breaking 75cm of fresh snow overnight—the deepest of the season so far! Many riders have called it their best day yet, and there’s still heaps of untouched powder waiting for you up top. 🚡✨
But the best part? Another massive snowfall is on the horizon! If you thought yesterday was epic, just wait—the best might still be yet to come!
So, wax up your skis and boards, hop on the gondola, and get ready for another unforgettable powder day in Nozawa Onsen!

Looks like from today we are going to get a 3 day break from the snowfall and we may even see some sunshine. But hold on to your snorkel as a huge Siberian system is working its way towards us and expected to hit from Monday night and hang around for at least 4 days.
Maths was never my favourite subject but adding up the numbers we could get well over another 1.5 meters from this storm. Good news is that should set us up nicely for the rest of the season.
