Base back at 400cm!
Base back at 400cm!
Yesterday the snow just kept coming and big flakes too. I missed the update on what we got on top of Thursday nights 30cm but would have been a bit. Together with the 12cm that fell since the lifts closed yesterday and we have a huge 4 meter base with a nice layer of powder sitting waiting for the lucky ones today on the mountain.
The sun was peaking out early and it is looking like a reasonably clear day ahead. There will be scattered clouds and a chance of some more light snow tonight.
TODAY:
🌡️ Temperature at Nagasaka top: -9 Degrees
❄️ New snow since yesterday: 12cm
🏔️ Base at the top of Nagasaka: 400 Magnificent cm’s
❄️ Snow conditions: Plenty of powder from yesterday
🌤️ Weather: Scattered cloud with good visibility
⛷️ Runs: All runs open
🚡 Lifts: All lifts open
❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
Apart from the light snow forecast tonight it looks like we are finally in for some beautiful sun filled days ahead starting tomorrow. Temps are remaining cold too and then a southerly wind change on Monday will bring some warmer weather for a few days. Winds remain light throughout so should be some epic conditions. Long range looks like another little snow system forming from next Sunday so will keep an eye on that.
