Nozawa has a total of 36 official courses and lots of little secret ones. The resort has one of the best verticals in Japan with 1085m difference between the top and bottom. It faces directly to the Sea of Japan so picks up a lot of snow form the amazing Lake effect that drives that cold deep Siberian powder across our slopes. With a pretty equal mix of all levels which one do you like the most? Let us know in the comments.

SNOW FORECAST ❄️
Fresh snow is on the way! Expect light to heavy snowfall through the weekend, with temps staying between -7°C to -11°C, keeping the slopes in prime condition. Groomers are smooth, and there’s plenty of powder on the sides for adventurous riders. Winds will remain moderate, with occasional gusts up to 30 km/h, which might bring some added challenges at higher elevations, but today and tomorrow we’ll see mostly light to moderate winds. The mix of light snow showers and heavy snow mid-week promises to deliver some of the best skiing and snowboarding conditions of the season.
