Waking up today, the village is wrapped in a fresh 20cm blanket of snow, with a light sprinkle continuing to fall, adding to the magical winter vibes. On the mountain, visibility is fantastic despite the clouds, and with slow southern winds and temperatures around -7°C, it’s shaping up to be a great day on the mountain.
For families with little ones or first-timers, Hikage Station is the place to be! The kids’ park and magic carpet make it perfect for beginners, while a variety of restaurants and cozy cafes ensure everyone stays warm and happy. Getting there is a breeze—just hop on the ski-doo shuttle from Nagasaka Station. You can’t miss it, as it runs every 10-15 minutes, playing its cheerful melody! 🎶 And let’s not forget yesterday’s surprise sunshine, proof of how wonderfully unpredictable mountain weather can be. It was a magical day with soft snowflakes falling, leaving behind 20cm of fresh powder to enjoy today. See you out there on the slopes! 🏔️✨
