Great start to the week!

 

Waking up to a snowy morning again today in Nozawa. Resort reporting 15cm overnight and still some nice fluffy flakes lofting from the sky as we enjoy breakfast at Lodge Nagano. Love those pancakes with local apples 🙂 The base is sitting nicely above the 1 meter mark now and given it is set to keep snowing think will stay there now.

 

 

Will be a good powder day up top and should be pretty quiet after what was a busy weekend. Same runs and slopes at this stage but have heard from a good source that Paradise and more runs will open next Saturday the 21st of December. Would not be surprised if we are top to bottom by next weekend even if just on the Forest trail.

☃️ SNOW FORECAST:

Still snowing nicely this morning and we may see some Sun later today. Then snow set to continue for the rest of the week ahead of what could be Sunny weekend. The longer term looking really good too with temps forecast to get proper cold next week and some big snow numbers on the menu. Can safely say a White Christmas is assured this year in Nozawa. If all this skiing is not enough then there is a new top level Gym just opened at Sparena. We have been talking about this for years so great to see it come to fruition. It is free to use today and tomorrow and then some good deals after that so be sure to check it out.
