New Year’s countdown on the mountain?
New Year’s countdown on the mountain?
Tonight, Nagasaka slope will be open until 23:30, with free sake and hot wine served from 23:00. Be sure to stay until midnight to enjoy the countdown fireworks! 🎆
Yesterday, we were treated to stunning bluebird skies with views of neighboring mountains from the top. Today, we’re expecting more snow and cloudy weather – setting the scene for a cozy winter celebration. ❄️If you’d like to celebrate in a traditional Japanese way, warm up with soba noodles before welcoming 2025, then visit the shrine or temple above O-yu. The atmosphere there is truly special, with people praying, receiving good luck notes, and the temple bell ringing 108 times to bring a fresh start for the New Year. 🕊️
