And that’s a wrap on the 2023 Snowboard Masters Contest! Congratulations to all of the competitors who competed this year. The talent this year was unreal.

Another sunny day is ahead of us in Nozawa Onsen. There are still many people enjoying the beautiful Nozawa Spring on the slopes!

TODAY:

Temperature at the top; Yamabiko 3 degrees

New snow since yesterday; 0cm

Base at the top; 150cm

Snow conditions; Snow is slowly decreasing each day. There is still a good amount of snow cover on the top areas of the mountain which still remain open.

Weather; Remaining consistent with sunny days and clear skies.

LIFTS IN OPERATION: The following lifts are scheduled to be operating today:

– Nagasaka Gondola

– Yamabiko Four

– Yamabiko Number 2 Four

– Uenotaira

– Paradise

RUNS OPEN: The top areas of the mountain (above Paradise) still remain open. Nagasaka Gondola is operating to get back down to base. The snow cover in these areas is still very good!

FORECAST: Still plenty of spring sunshine and clear skies on the slopes of Nozawa with light winds averaging from 5-15km/hr today. Although snow is disappearing in areas on the mountain, there is still a lot of fun to be had on the higher parts of the mountain.
