TOWN ORIENTATION NOZAWA ONSEN
One of my favourite Japanese words is Shibui, meaning “old school cool”, I think perfectly describes the locals in Nozawa. Many of the parents and the older folk have such a sick sense of style and they’re always up and about, they truly are a real special part of he Nozawa Onsen tapestry.
Yet another glorious sunny day in Nozawa onsen. Winds are light and variable from the SW pushing warmer air from Okinawa towards us in the foothills. Temperatures are set to be in the positives again with a max of 7 degrees on top of the mountain and a max of 16 degrees in town. Should be clear skies and great visibility with clouds rolling in late afternoon and settling in for the night.
If you’re new to Nozawa or you’re still at home, in the process of booking your next best holiday, getting to know the town is a must so you get a chance to try all the amazing restaurants and attractions Nozawa has to offer. Our staff at the Nozawa Central office are always there to help with finding your way around.
