Magic March with a Magic Foot overnight!

30cm of fresh snow overnight on the nose and still falling hard this morning. It is a chilly -7 degrees up top so it is going to be an awesome March Powder day on the slopes. Feels like a while since we had a decent dump so sure all the powder hounds will be howling this morning. Much less people to share it with too compared to say 2 weeks ago. 

Last year March was the best month of the season and always my favourite time of year. Good base, some nice dumps and can often get an Onsen to myself 🙂 Not looking like we will get as much snow fall this March, think we got so much the rest of the season the snow gods are taking a break! Is this the last big dump of the season? Would not say the tap will be turned off yet but looks like we have some warmer Sunny days ahead.  After so much snow this season to be honest most locals are looking forward to Spring. Bring on the sunshine, sakura and spring slush. But for today pull out the powder planks and go deep one more time in Nozawa. Stay safe and have a great day. Arigatou Gozaimasu.
