Wintery weekend in Nozawa
Has been a cold few days in Nozawa and this morning is also frosty in the trees and knees. Light snow still falling out the window this morning and there has been a little dusting for the top again. Cloud encasing the mountains above the village at the moment but should clear for a sunny Saturday ahead. Yesterday saw similar varying conditions on piste with some icy sections but also some great runs and all that went up had a good time. Everything will have been well groomed again overnight and should soften up under the sun.

❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
Very similar conditions across the board to yesterday with the addition of blue skies and sunshine later. Enjoy it while it lasts as we should head back in to the snow globe from tomorrow night. The weather man telling me we should get about 30cm over about 48 hours which will be a nice top up well supported by cold Siberian temps. Sunshine from Wednesday for a few days ahead of another snowy system for next weekend. So looking like a good little rhythm building for Nozawa for the foreseeable future. Will probably be busy today but most of the Tokyo crowd should head home tomorrow lunch time leaving a pretty quiet week ahead. So anyone here should be enjoying this fresh snow coming without too many to share it with.
