Last night, Nozawa Onsen’s Lantern Festival kicked off in spectacular fashion. Despite a light rain, the streets were filled with people enjoying the glowing lanterns, traditional dances, delicious street food, and captivating performances.A beautiful fireworks show added to the magic, painting the sky with color and excitement. Today, on the 9th of September, the festivities continue with the Omikoshi procession, as the heart of the festival pulses through the streets once again.
