Another Day Nozawa Paradise
It’s a lovely winters day in Nozawa Onsen, waking up to the magic of soft falling snow with the beautiful blue sky peeking through scattered clouds. How lucky are we to be here! It will be a fun day up on the mountain with a consistent top up of snow on the trails all day.

Base at the top; 45cm (the base continues to build, yahoo!).
Snow conditions; Fresh dusting of powder. This will be topped up all day as it continues to snow throughout the day. Still watch out for rocks or branches underfoot in any tracked out popular areas, especially near the end of the day.

SNOW FORECAST:
Unfortunately, the super snowstorm has not showed up exactly how we hoped overnight… BUT, it will still be snowing all day today and we will have just over 30cm by the evening, including 10cm down in the village. Yesterday was really good up top with nice cold temps and beautiful snow conditions under foot.
Monday is still looking great with the 40cm forecast still holding strong.
Tuesday will bring light snow showers in the morning.
Nozawa Onsen can often have a slow start to the season, but when it starts it doesn’t stop so no need to worry!
