Today is the Chinese New Year and we look forward to celebrating the Lunar New year.

Todays Snow Report from Nozawa Onsen
Temperature up top: -7 degrees
New snow since close: 5cm
Base at top: 130 cm
Snow conditions: Nice little top up on the upper slopes
Weather: Blue skies with scattered cloud

Chinese New Year Nozawa
Temperatures are set to stay cold most of the day so should be some beautiful conditions on the slopes and a good day for a beer outside up at Buna or any of the restaurants on the slopes. Very light winds from the North West keeping temps cool and clear skies again tomorrow. Looking ahead will warm up a little and we may get some rain down low but up top is looking like a major snow system coming in from Wednesday onwards and we could see up to 1 Meter of snow falling up high followed by nice cold temps and even more snow behind that. Things are heading in the right direction, for now enjoy the glorious sunshine and lets wait and see. Have a great weekend in Nozawa
