Magnificent day in Nozawa with clear blue skies and light winds. Temps are pretty warm up top, actually cooler down low. Snow quality still pretty good with the dusting from yesterday. Can count the number of people on most slopes now the weekend visitors have headed home.

The clear skies and amazing visibility are a welcome turn around after the fog on the weekend. We get a lot of these kind of blue sky days in March in Nozawa and it is a fantastic time to visit.
People often ask us when is the best time to Visit Nozawa. We often suggest March if they can make it work with holidays etc. Here are a few reasons why we love March
- Still lots of snow! Base often 3 meters plus
- Warmer days for the kids
- No lift lines
- Easy to get into your favorite restaurants

December is still setting up most of the time. We can get early dumps but often it is not good until Mid December. January is peak time and busy. February is good but can be cold and still busy. March has it all!
