February Long Weekend Nozawa
February Long Weekend Nozawa – Snowy Sunday morning in Nozawa
Waking up to a winter wonderland here in Nozawa Onsen with the “Magic Foot” plus a little or 35cm deposited on the slopes overnight. Temps nice and cold and the snow flakes still lofting nicely from the sky. It will be a busy day so get up early if you can and make the most of the boot deep powder. Yesterday was a beautiful clear day so will be a nice contrast to have the snow today. Don’t forget the 100 Year celebrations taking place on the Nagsaka Slope tonight from 19:30 and Fireworks from 20:30 always very pretty to see against the snowy backdrop. The town is full at the moment but if keen to get up later in the season we have good availability for all of March onwards so head to the site to get a quote. Light snow set to commune for the rest of the day with cold temps. A bluebird morning expected tomorrow as snow eases and temps remain cold. Tuesday on we have a southerly change set to kick in and plenty of sunshine and warmer currents for a few days. We may see a dip on Thursday night and the forecast saying 10cm of snow for the top. Next weekend will be a sun filled one before what could be another decent snow system engulfing us from the 20th of February onwards but that is still a long way off. For now enjoy the Nozawa powder today and the holidays. Stay safe and have an awesome weekend in Nozawa.
