First Day Nozawa Season
A November to remember in Nozawa. I can’t remember the last time I got to ski in November and it felt good. The snow was a mix of natural and man made but there was ample cover on the run that was open. Was fast and firm in the morning and softened up a bit as the day went on. The snow also kicked in after lunch and got pretty heavy into the afternoon. The snow continued overnight and the resort reporting 12cm of fresh overnight.
Was fairly quiet up top yesterday but a few guests and a mix of excited new seasonal staff. Think will be pretty quiet most of the week ahead of the weekend. Snow set to continue falling all day and we could see up to 30cm of fresh up top.
