Good Looking Week Ahead
Good looking week ahead for Nozawa
After what was probably not the best week of the season the next week is looking good starting tonight with snow expected and set to continue all day tomorrow and into Tuesday. Today is looking fun out there, some high level cloud cover so visibility looks good up top and the trees have a white coat at Yamabiko. The groomers should be fast early and crowds should start to dissipate as the day goes on. The long weekend was busy around town but I predict it will be a lot quieter from tomorrow and then quieter again from next week as we hit March. We had a last minute cancellation for the very popular Nozawa Gondola Apartments. A beautiful 3 bedroom Apartment is available from tonight for 6 nights. Here is a link to details and to book if want to be here for this coming snow; https://www.nozawaholidays.com/properties/nozawa-gondola-apartments-3/

❄️ SNOW FORECAST:
Without a major snowfall in the past couple of days, we’re headed for a change this week with around 30cm of snow forecasted from tonight. The snowfall should keep on sprinkling over Nozawa throughout Monday until Tuesday afternoon. We expect another top-up of about the same amount of fresh white from Thursday. This week is looking like the snow has set in with a window opening for some sunshine on Wednesday for everyone to enjoy the beautiful views from top of Mt. Kenashi. The temps for today and until the end of the upcoming week will remain below zero which should preserve the snow nicely and cover the icy patches. Today should be a great day on the mountain with mild winds and good visibility so gear up, stay safe and have fun on the slopes!
