Cruising the Corduroy in Nozawa
Fresh start to the morning in Nozawa with temps hovering around freezing in town and -5 degrees up on the mountain.

The web cams look like we may have got a dusting up top overnight but nothing fell in the village. The groomers have been busy and should be some perfect corduroy runs to enjoy this morning and good conditions under foot with the cold temps.

Yesterday was a terrific day on the slopes with great snow conditions and some sunshine. Cruising down Kanazawa after lunch and the run was fast and perfect with almost no tracks. A lot less people about now the New Years Holiday is over.
The forecast is looking like this southerly change will come in tonight and intensify tomorrow with strong winds and some rain expected. Tomorrow Wednesday may be a good day to take it easy in the morning at least. Temps should drop in the afternoon as the winds shift to the North West and snow is then expected for the top.
