Nozawa Onsen Fire Festival ” Himatsuri” 2020
Lots of amazing images coming out of the last nights ceremony in Nozawa. It was a spectacular night and the pantomime played out perfectly with all running smoothly, no major injuries and blessed by the gods with just the right amount of snow to top it off.
Thanks to everyone that visited and for respecting the locals and this age old tradition. Arigatou Gozaimashhita.
Enjoy some of the highlights and we hope to see you next year. It is a busy week though so also consider coming other times. The ski season generally runs from mid December to mid April or a bit longer.
