SNOW FORECAST:
The once-in-a-decade cold front hitting Japan is holding strong over Nozawa Onsen and the week of powder days continues. Freezing temperatures for the weekend will keep the fresh powder nice and preserved. An overnight dump of heavy snowfall should bring us half a metre. Tomorrow it will be snowing heavily all day with just under a metre of fresh snow by the day’s end. The snow showers will ease a bit on Sunday with 10cm falling over the day. More snow on Monday and then the forecast predicts a few days of relief from the storm… We might even see the sun!
