Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 18th December 2018
Waking up to Winter in Nozawa!
Just as the weather person promised us yesterday, we awoke to some fresh white stuff today. There has to be about 10 centimetres new snow in the village and double that up on the mountain.
The even better news is that as we sit here and look out the window, it continues to fall quite steadily. It looks as though we’re in for a superb day on the mountain today, folks!

As more and more people are becoming aware having visited Nozawa for a slide down the mountain, one of the best ways to end a day on the mountain is with an onsen. If you should happen to be unfamiliar with onsen ettiquette, take a few minutes to check out our very popular “How to Onsen” video.

Loving the weather updates – and a good video on onsen drills for newcomers. Are you able to give me an idea on the tattoo policies of the various onsens in Nozawa please? I have had no issues in Akakura, Madarao or Niseko but this will be my first visit to Nozawa. Thank you.
