Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 20th December 2018
Fresh Nozawa Snow
After a strange old night last night where we heard thunder rumbling above us, it was difficult to know what we might wake up to. The good news? “About 15 centimetres of fresh snow” is the answer to that question!
Not only were we blessed with some fresh stuff but the skies cleared to give us a pretty awesome day on the mountain. The photo above shows the fog over the village on first run of the day (photo by Aerandir-san).

For now though, it looks to be a great day up on the mountain today. Of course, when you’ve earned a thirst and worked up a hunger, maybe you’re going to want to check out our Restaurant and Bar Guide. There’s plenty of options in our unique village. Of course, plenty of places to enjoy authentic, traditional Japanese food but also some Western options including Mexican at Juntos Tacos, pizza at Hikari House Swiss Bakery, and more.
