Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 24th December 2018
It’s snowing today! Will we see a grey, blue or white Christmas?
The above is a slightly complicated question. As ever, snow forecasts are never one hundred per cent accurate as Mother Nature enjoys making fun of us. At the time of writing, however, it looks as though Christmas Day will be the only day of this week where we don’t see snowfall.
That might sound like slightly bad news but we’ve always got the option of looking at the other side of the coin. Which, of course, means we’re going to get some serious snow! Not only that but the forecast for Christmas Day is for blue skies and sunshine. Not bad, Mother Nature. Not bad at all!
Today is a taste of things to come. Winter looks like it’s about to get real as of Thursday!
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. We had 15cm on top of the mountain overnight and it’s still snowing in the village as of
