Shiga Kogen and Nozawa Onsen have just recently released a combined Season Pass for 75,000 Yen.
Looks like it replaces the Classic Resort pass that also covered Happo in Hakuba but they are not in it this year and the price is a little cheaper.
That gives you access to a massive ski area just 1 hour from Nozawa Onsen. Shiga Kogen has a combined 21 smaller resorts to give an amazing 607 Hectares of ski area and over 60 Lifts. The highest point is 2305 m too making it one of the highest in the region.
It almost has a European resort feel to it with all the interconnected resorts you can ski to. Shiga Kogen gets mixed reviews from our guests that visit there, some love it but find many prefer Nozawa for the Village feel more than anything.
Still it makes a great add on if want to try a different resort after Nozawa Onsen.
A Nozawa Onsen Season pass is as follows
Adults 63,000 Yen
Child 50,000 Yen
Senior 57,000 Yen
Spring Season Pass from March onwards
Adults 32,000 Yen
Child 20,000 Yen
Senior 26,000 Yen
So if you came in March or April and skied for 30 days would be just 1000 Yen a day!
We do a special deal for long term stays in March and April too. The resort is open until May 8th
Live The Dream Package
Special anytime for March and April
- 30 Nights Stay based on Share room
- Healthy Breakfast Included Daily
- Unlimited Days Lift Passes (Season Pass for March and April)

March is still our favourite time in the Mountains with the base usually around 3 meters plus, still some amazing powder days and so quiet it is almost a private ski resort!
