Blue to grey day in Nozawa
Sorry for the late report was a good day to catch up on some office work. Different scene in Nozawa today after such a sun filled day yesterday. It is pretty cloudy up top and some light rain in town. As said a good day to hit the books. Yesterday was a beautiful spring day and warm but was nice up on the slopes. Good conditions early turned to slow going in places once the sun worked its way into the base. It was just in that border between Spring slush and winter snow so got a bit sticky. This video from up the very top yesterday afternoon showed if found the right spots and had the right wax you could still have some fun.

Temperature up top: 7 degrees
New snow since close: 0 cm
Base at top: 195 cm
Snow conditions: Spring skiing in the clouds
Weather: Raining but should turn to snow for the top tonight and into tomorrow
Temps still looking at cooling into tomorrow and snow expected occasionally over the next few days with Sunday night the heaviest at this stage. Plenty of sunshine in between so today is the best day for a break.
